These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website lingobab.com, the LingoBab online learning platform, its Arabic language courses, applications, features, and associated services (collectively, the “Platform”) provided by Lingobab AI Limited (“LingoBab”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a limited company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”).

By creating an account, purchasing access, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
We may modify, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features of the Platform from time to time in accordance with these Terms and Applicable Law.
By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least eighteen (18) years old, or that you use the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.
In line with applicable UAE child-safety and data-protection requirements, we do not knowingly provide services to children under thirteen (13) without appropriate parental or legal guardian consent where such consent is required.
Third-party services that may be connected to LingoBab, including third-party artificial intelligence services, may have their own age and eligibility requirements. You must also satisfy the applicable requirements of any third-party service you choose to use.

To access some or all Platform features, you may need to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to keep your account information reasonably current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account, except where such activity results from circumstances for which you are not legally responsible.
You must not provide your password, authentication codes, or other private login credentials to another person.
Authorising access through an integration, API, OAuth connection, or other functionality expressly supported by LingoBab does not constitute sharing your password or login credentials with a third party.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, create security risks, are used fraudulently, or are otherwise used unlawfully.
LingoBab may offer free access, recurring subscription plans, fixed-term access plans, one-time purchases, temporary access products, or other paid and unpaid options.
The current price, billing period, access period, learning-step limits, included features, renewal terms, and other conditions applicable to a particular plan or product are displayed on the Platform or during the purchase process before payment.
Prices may be displayed in one or more currencies. Where an approximate equivalent in another currency is shown, the actual amount charged will be the amount presented during checkout by LingoBab or the applicable payment provider.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe. Your payment method may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of the applicable payment provider.
When you make a purchase, you authorise the applicable charge for the product or plan you have selected.
Recurring plans. Where a plan is expressly described as recurring or automatically renewing, it may renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the applicable renewal date. The renewal terms will be displayed before purchase.
Fixed-term or one-time plans. Where a plan is expressly described as a one-time payment for a fixed access period, it does not automatically renew unless the Platform clearly states otherwise and you separately agree to such renewal.
We may change prices or plan structures from time to time. Changes will not retroactively change an access period or billing period that you have already paid for, unless required by law or agreed with you. Where a recurring plan is affected by a price change, we will provide any notice required by Applicable Law before the changed price takes effect.
Learning on the Platform follows a structured, step-by-step system. Depending on the applicable plan or product, limits may apply to the number of learning steps, activities, features, or other resources available during a particular period.
The limits and access conditions applicable to your plan are those displayed on the Platform or during purchase. Limits may differ between free, subscription, fixed-term, promotional, or other access options.
Unless the applicable plan expressly states otherwise, unused daily or periodic allowances do not accumulate or carry over to subsequent periods.
LingoBab may add, remove, reorganise, update, replace, or improve lessons, courses, exercises, assessments, learning paths, and Platform functionality as part of the continuing development of the service.
We do not guarantee any particular educational, linguistic, professional, academic, or other learning result. Individual outcomes depend on factors including prior knowledge, learning activity, consistency, practice, and individual circumstances.
Refund requests should be sent to info@lingobab.com within fourteen (14) days of payment.
Subject to Applicable Law, we may grant a refund where you have not made significant use of the purchased course or service. Applicable payment-processing costs or non-refundable third-party charges may be deducted where legally permitted.
Subject to any mandatory rights available under Applicable Law, refunds are generally not provided for partially used access periods, recurring payments that were not cancelled before renewal, or dissatisfaction with the learning format after significant use of the Platform.
We reserve the right to refuse refund requests involving fraud, abuse, repeated misuse of refund procedures, or material violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law.
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable rights available to you under applicable consumer-protection law, including UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, where applicable.
LingoBab may provide optional functionality allowing you to connect your LingoBab account to supported third-party artificial intelligence services, including services such as ChatGPT by OpenAI (“Connected AI Services”).
Use of a Connected AI Service is optional. You must initiate or authorise the connection before that service can access functionality made available through the relevant LingoBab integration.
When you use a Connected AI Service, LingoBab may provide limited information from your account or learning context that is reasonably necessary for the function you request. This may include information about your assigned courses, relevant course or lesson context, learning progress or status, and other learning information required to provide appropriate language practice.
The personal-data aspects of these integrations are described in our Privacy Policy.
A Connected AI Service may use information received from LingoBab to generate exercises, conversations, explanations, practice activities, or other responses based on your learning context.
Unless LingoBab expressly states otherwise, activities completed through a Connected AI Service are practice activities only and do not change your official LingoBab course progress, assessment results, competency status, learning record, or course completion status.
Content generated by a Connected AI Service is generated or provided by the relevant third-party provider. Such content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and should not be treated as an official LingoBab assessment unless LingoBab expressly identifies it as such.
Your use of a Connected AI Service is also subject to the terms, privacy policy, eligibility requirements, and other conditions of the third-party provider.
LingoBab does not control the independent operation, availability, output, data practices, or policies of third-party AI services. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue support for a particular third-party integration at any time.
You may stop using or disconnect a supported integration through the controls provided by LingoBab, the third-party provider, or both, where such controls are available.
All materials and technology made available through the Platform, including course texts, exercises, curriculum structures, designs, graphics, video, audio, software, algorithms, learning systems, databases, trademarks, and other content, are owned by LingoBab or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Your access to the Platform grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the available content for your own lawful educational purposes during the applicable access period. It does not transfer ownership of any LingoBab content or intellectual property to you.
Except where expressly permitted by LingoBab or by Applicable Law, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, publish, systematically extract, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from protected Platform content.
Nothing in these Terms prevents normal use of Platform functionality, including use through integrations, APIs, sharing functions, or automated functionality expressly made available or authorised by LingoBab.

The restrictions on automated access do not prohibit normal use of integrations, APIs, AI connections, or automated functionality expressly provided, supported, or authorised by LingoBab.
Material violation of these rules may result in restriction, suspension, or termination of access.
We aim to keep the Platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Platform may depend on third-party infrastructure, hosting, payment systems, communications services, analytics systems, artificial intelligence services, or other providers. Availability of these third-party services may affect Platform functionality.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, upgrades, technical problems, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, absence of errors, or any particular educational result.
To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, LingoBab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or anticipated savings.
To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, our total aggregate liability for claims arising from or relating to the Platform or these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid directly to LingoBab for use of the Platform during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by Applicable Law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may cancel an automatically renewing subscription through the available account or billing controls. Cancellation generally prevents the next renewal and does not normally terminate an already-paid access period unless otherwise stated or required by Applicable Law.
A fixed-term or one-time access plan ordinarily ends at the end of its stated access period and does not require cancellation unless otherwise expressly stated.
We may suspend or terminate access where you materially violate these Terms, fail to make a required payment, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, create a security risk, or where suspension or termination is required by law.
Suspension or termination resulting from a violation of these Terms does not automatically create a right to a refund.
We may deactivate accounts that have been inactive for more than one (1) year where there is no active paid access, subject to reasonable notice where appropriate.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, why we process it, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the rights and choices available to users.
The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.
To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, LingoBab will not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war or military action, government restrictions, widespread Internet or telecommunications outages, pandemics, major infrastructure failures, or failures of third-party services outside our reasonable control.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, pricing or access models, legal requirements, third-party integrations, technology, or our business practices.
The current version will always be published at https://lingobab.com/terms/ with the date of the latest update.
Where a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Platform, website, email, or another appropriate method where required by Applicable Law.
Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. Where your express agreement is legally required, we will request it separately.
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”), subject to any mandatory consumer rights or other laws that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to any mandatory jurisdictional rights available under Applicable Law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Before starting court proceedings, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for thirty (30) days after written notice of the dispute, unless urgent relief is required or Applicable Law provides otherwise.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific terms presented and accepted in connection with a particular purchase or service, constitute the agreement between you and LingoBab regarding your use of the Platform.
No waiver. A failure or delay by LingoBab in enforcing a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations where reasonably necessary in connection with a corporate restructuring, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or transfer of the Platform, subject to Applicable Law.
Third-party services. References to third-party providers or services do not create a partnership, joint venture, agency relationship, or endorsement unless expressly stated otherwise.
Language. These Terms are drafted in English. If a translation is provided, the English version will prevail in the event of an inconsistency, subject to any mandatory requirements of Applicable Law.
